Gain weight

Guys/Gals.. I have a few tips which worked for me to put on weight.

After eating like hell for several years I didn’t put on a single Kg. At last I got this idea and it worked for me after trying for 4 months. At the end of 4 months I gained 11kgs.

The most important thing to remember is that you should never skip the course even for a single day. If you skip a single meal. You need to start allover again.

So this is the magic course

Along with your regular food. Take the following food daily.

Egg whites – 8nos ( boil the egg. Have only the white throw away the yellow)

Large bananas (Kerala type)- 2nos (ask any mallu friends they will help you)

4 slices of bread with 2 tablespoons (large spoon) of butter.

½ litter boiled milk

½ litter curd

1 litter water

Surprised!!!!! ha ha... Guys… remember… No pains no gains.

Well… imagine that you are under treatment for a serious illness. And imagine that the medicines are the above prescribed. If you miss even one medicine for a single time.. it may cause damage.

You need to take this food in every 3 hours starting from morning 5 o’clock.

This is what I followed for 4 months

5 AM – 8 egg whites one glass milk

8 AM – brk fast and 1 glass milk

11AM - ½ litter curd 2 steamed bananas

1 PM - lunch with lot of green vegetables and dal

4 PM – 4 slices of bread and with 2 tablespoon butter and one glass milk

And the regular dinner.

Remember to take a glass of water after one hour of each food.

Exercise is a must. Do the abdominal exercises regularly to avoid potbelly.

I gained 11 Kgs. I tried it an year before… I’m still alive. So you wont die. But now I stopped it and lost a few kilos after an year. Don’t think that you will get some high status after put on some weight or you will get notices. The only things that count are our character and positive attitude. So now I’m trying to build them… hah.

Disadvantageous:

Expensive
It’s difficult to walk/run for a few minutes continuously because of the weight.
May cause cholesterol. So keep a check regularly.
Need to buy new cloths to fit the new size.

Cooking- it’s sooo easy to learn

This is all about learning the basic formula and trying different experiments with that formula. Anybody out there who thinks that cooking is very difficult to learn. Well.. this post is for them. Once you understand the above simple formula of cooking your mother may also get jealous on your cooking. This post is usefull for those who are living away from home. So let’s get started.

THE SIMPLE FORMULA :- add cooking oil->onion->powders->tomatoes->salt-> add the allredy prepared cereal/veggie/meat-> and eat.
Yes.. it’s very simple.

Before that let's learn a few Basic operations:

Let’s learn how to turn on the gas. If you notice the top part of the gas cylinder you can see a knob there(called regulator) . Turn that knob upside to flow the gas to the stove. Now, on the stove turn the knob to left hand side. You can hear a hissing sound of gas coming out the burner. Immediately, take the lighter and click it to fire the gas. Caution: if you do not lit it within 10 – 20 seconds the flame will be very high. So always keep away your face from the stove.

Important things to notice (or it may prove fatal)

Do not leave the knob on the gas stove opened for more than 5 seconds without the fire. If you leave the knob opened without the flame, the gas will get filled in the kitchen and with a small spark the whole kitchen will be burned into ashes. Even the spark of the electric switch can do the damage (Yes.. there will be a spark inside the switch when we turn it on or off). So, if you get the foul smell of gas inside the kitchen do not switch on the fan or light. The spark inside those switches can lit the gas. Just open the windows and let the fresh air come in.

Let's Start cooking with the above formula

Preparation of cereal/veggie/meat:

If you are cooking dal… wash a glass of dal (1 normal tea glass = more than half of a coffee mug = half of beer mug… I think 3 examples are enough). Then put it in pressure cooker. Add 2 glasses of water 2 pinches of salt. Close it properly. Put it on the flame. Turn it off after 4 whistles. Wait for 15 minutes to cool off. For Rajma and all other hard cereals… soak it for half a day (or overnight). That’s till it become soft. Then cook it for 4 whistles. For chicken add a glass of water and cook it for one whistle.

Now… let’s learn the steps.

Step1. Turn on the gas (both on the cylinder and on the stove.. turn both upward ). Put a washed pan on the stove.

2. When the pan gets heated (say 20 seconds) pour 2 table spoon of cooking oil (larger one is table spoon and smaller one is teaspoon… no big deal)

3. When oil is hot (it takes another 20 seconds… or when the fumes start to come) turn the knob to the left hand side to reduce the flame (and it is important).

4. Add some mustard (say one tea spoon—the small spoon) and wait for a few seconds to stop the crackling sound of mustard.

5. Add finely sliced onions (3 large one). Now you can increase the flame a bit.

6. Keep on stirring so that it wont get burned and sticked to the pot. From this step to the last you need to keep on stirring with a medium speed. And this the only boring part.

7. When the color becomes a golden brown (may be after 10 minutes) add coriander power (3 table spoon- large spoon) and 1 teaspoon (small spoon) turmeric powder. If you over cook the onion it becomes brown and useless.

8. Continue stirring for 2 more minutes. Then reduce the flame to minimum.

9. Then add 1 tea spoon (small spoon) chilly powder.

10. Add chopped tomatoes (2 nos). And increase the flame (keep on stirring and keep smiling also)

11. After 5 minutes it will become a fine paste.. of masala.

12. Add salt to taste… may be half teaspoon (small one) and stir again. If it’s less you can add in the end.

13. Now you can add whatever vegetable (or chicken or egg) you want to add depending on the curry you are going to cook.

14. Cook for a few minutes and it’s ready.

Note: Don't expect it to be perfect at the first attempt. It takes a few attempts to get into the right track. You might have noticed that even your mother makes mistakes after having years of experience.

Be a perfect biker

I would like to share a few tips on biking that I have learned over the years from experiance. Sorry for the typos and grammar in advance.. hah.
I won't advise you to limit the speed because I never go slow as long as it's a deserted road (coz I dont want to kill anybody). Remeber a few things before you start talking to the wind.

PROTECT YOUR FACE FROM THE FALL:
First and foremost ... Remember all those crashes you have seen so far. Most of them gets a scar on their face. No matter if its just a skid. The scar looks very ugly when it gets healed. It leaves a dark and deep mark on your face which can only be fixed by a plastic surgery (and which is very costly). Yes... You got my point...a full masked hellmet is a must to avoid the pain and the hardships for you and your relatives in the hospital.
The joints that attaches our jaws to the scull is very delicate. A slightest hit can dislocate it. Yess.. even a 10 year old boy's simple punch can dislocate it (no matter if you are an Arnold). You will be very fortunate if your chin won't hit the ground in a crash. I wish nobody suffers this. The pain is severe. You cannot eat anything for 3 to 4 months. You can have only liquid food through the tube. You cannot even talk. A full masked helmet can avoid this (It's not just a simple thing... it's 4 months' all day and all night long pain) too.
It protects the teeth too. Imagine yourself smiling without the 4 teeth in the front row on your first date. ha ha... I cannot stop laughing. Even your girl friend may not be able to hide her laugh.
And last but not the least... A helmet can save you from going to a comma stage. You dont want your mother to clean up your shit and butt even after you have grown up.

BACK PAIN:
Several guys complain about backpain while riding. Do you ever lift your back while crossing a hump or in a pothole? It's a must. Whenever there is pothole remember to lift your back from the seat and hold the handle tight. This will not only avoid the back pain but also give you great control and will avoid a crash.

IN THE HEAVY TRAFFIC:
Hold the handle very loose if you are riding very slowly in the heavy traffic. It will keep the bike steady.

OVER TAKING:
This is what I like most while I'm riding. But remember these tips. First of all... it's a life and death situation. So there is no scop for error in your decision. Be aware of your speed, speed of the vehicle infront of you and the oncoming vehicle. It's very difficult to calculate the speed of the vehicles coming form the opposite direction. Avoid risky overtakings in the night. I repeat.. do not overtake in the night. If our speed is above 60 kmph our eyes cannot get the view of some of the things on the road (potholes, cattles or children etc). Don't expect other drives slowdown for you. Most of them are not in a good mood. Especially truck drivers. They are driving for several hours in the hot and humid condions, away from their family. They are rugged by the treatment of the police, other drives (like me..hah) , crashes and the deadbodys.
In an overtaking process if you are unsure about the climax. DO NOT ACCELERATE. YOU WILL NEVER SURVIVE. Dont hesitate. Apply breaks. (NO EGOs here...we need to live many more years). Just slowdown. Atleast you can reduce the impact of the collision. This saved my life several times in the highways. We men have this ugly feeling of Ego which leads us to death.

WITH THE GIRLFRIEND:
Most of the girls dont like speeidng (eventhough they dont admit it). Ask them about their comfortable speed before going for a long drive. Avoid taking risk because it may spoil the date and it doesn't worth the risk either. Speed will not prove that you are a superman. They hate sudden acceleration and braking (but I know you guys like braking very much...hah). You will be known as a bad rider after such a ride. Avoid night outs in bike. It's very important. Gangs may take everything from you (your girl, money and bike). You cannot fight with 10 guys at a time. It happens everywhere but the news dont come out as the girl hides everything happened to her. I know an incident happend in Bangalore.

GIVE RESPECT AND TAKE RESPECT
Please avoid harrasing lady riders/drivers. It doesn't yield anything, does it?. I'm referring to our mischiefs such as riding so close to them or overtaking them and applying sudden brakes infront of them. It may appear funny to us but it makes them very tensed. They may end up in an accident in the confusion. You dont want to be a killer... right? One more thing is that... Who knows if this lady is assosiated with the girl that you are eyeing. In that case... oh boy... you are dead.. ha ha.
